Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows :: More info

With snowfall from mid-November through the end of May, Squaw offers more days on the snow, every season than its competitors. Squaw Valley's vast upper mountain has wide-open bowls, chalking up a base snow depth that ranges from 10-20 feet. This makes for exceptional spring skiing with more terrain open longer. Squaw Valley offers more nighttime fun than any other California resort, including the 3.2-mile mountain run from High Camp to the base, and the Riviera Halfpipe, lit up for night sessions. Squaw Valley's massive network of 34 lifts includes 7 high-speed express chairs and redundant lift runs to ensure fast access and no lift lines, all over the mountain, even on the busiest holidays. Burgers and beers among mountain peaks, shopping in the snow, or hanging out around a fire pit—just another day spent walking around the Village at Squaw Valley. Whether enjoying dinner, relaxing with a luxurious spa session, or sipping a microbrew, the Village has all the ingredients for a time not soon to be forgotten. Snow Sport can book a range of accommodations; from luxury hotels, to spacious condominiums, intimate lakefront cabins, bed & breakfast inns and private homes. With so many great places to stay in Squaw Valley and the surrounding towns, there is something for every taste, budget and group size. Just steps away from the legendary slopes of Squaw Valley, The Village at Squaw Valley offers comfortable one, two and three-bedroom suites, each with a fireplace, kitchen and balcony. At the end of the day, guests can enjoy a host of restaurants, bars, boutiques and art galleries in The Village, as well as a full-service spa and rooftop hot tubs.
