Steamboat Springs Ski Resort offers over 3,600 ft. of vertical rise and its longest run, coined 'Why Not,' is more than three miles long! The gondola is 1/3 of a mile away. Don't miss out on the free shuttle access nearby as well. If getting your heart rate up on the slopes isn't your thing, you can always go for some snowshoeing, tubing, or snowmobile tours around the mountain. Night skiing is also an option, as well as cross-country skiing. There are many geothermal hot springs nearby so stop off for a dip in some naturally soothing water.
"It was a great setting close to gondola Square within walking and biking distance. The house itself is beautiful. It had everything we needed really as far as accommodations. With five lovely bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths we have plenty of room for everyone. The patio what is used frequently and we enjoyed the view a beautiful steamboat. The pool was closed due to Covid, however that did not make one bit of a difference because there were so many other things to do and we did enjoy the hot tub. Checking in was a breeze and the team was very helpful and accommodating. Anytime we called with a need they responded quickly And were very friendly. The only thing I would suggest would be to have a few more things in the kitchen for those people who like to stay in and cook rather than going out to eat. Suggestions: perhaps some small bowls and small glasses for those people traveling with younger people :-) all of the bowls for eating purposes were HUGE soup bowls and there needed to be more glassware. Perhaps a few more cooking items would be helpful. Some of the non stick pots and pans need to be thrown away as they are flaking off pretty seriously. No dish washing liquids, cleaners or laundry soap but I know they would respond and bring some upon request. These things were minor to our stay.
There were plenty of ceiling fans so there and the temperature was always very comfortable. The beds were great and the kids enjoyed the bunk room. We would definitely stay here again it really was perfect for a family. This is a lovely spacious and inviting home." Kris C. july 2020
