The Tavern House was once a popular bar called West End Tavern, and before that, Liemgruebers, imbuing the atmosphere with decades of merriment before being completely reborn as a luxury home. Entering from the inviting front porch, guests are welcomed into the great room that has been magically transformed into a spacious living area. The living room features a cozy sectional couch, gas fireplace and stunning vaulted ceilings.
The living room is open to the dining room, which has seating for six. The highlight of this space is the four-seat bar, which is constructed out of old mining carts - it's a great place to hang out with a cold brew after spending the day on the slopes! Continuing through the home, guests are welcomed into a spacious high-end kitchen with chef-grade appliances. A large island is home to a second sink, while the rest of the kitchen is adorned with Thermador and KitchenAid appliances.
At the rear of the home, there is a spacious mudroom with plenty of storage space for coats and shoes, including several boot dryers. There is also a small den with a pocket door. The room has a queen pullout bed, small flatscreen TV and gas fireplace. This bedroom has access to a full bathroom in the hallway with a shower.
The entire second floor is home to the master suite. It is highlighted by vaulted ceilings with industrial beams, a king bed, a large sitting area with a gas fireplace, an expansive closet, a flatscreen TV and a private balcony. There is also an additional office space with room for a computer. The balcony has a small hot tub. The ensuite bathroom has stunning finishes, including a luxurious jetted tub, a steam shower and double vanity.
On the lower level of this home is a comfortable sitting area with a large flatscreen TV, gas fireplace and wet bar. In addition, there is a small back patio on this level with a BBQ grill. It's the perfect place to lounge after a long day on the mountain! There is also a laundry room on this level with an LG frontloading washer and dryer.
